
Hi friends ! Thank you for being here . Today I am sharing with you another cozy recipe for fall. This is a recipe you have to try it’s so easy and so delicious I promise you that you’ll be licking the bowl because it is that good . Perfect for those busy school – work days . Here is a tip ; You can always make this and freeze it in the freezer . I do this for my kids I pack a cup size in a zip lock bag , add it in the freezer. When it’s time to use i’ll just pop it out thaw it under running water and heat it up . In the microwave or on the stove top.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 cup of celery
- 1 cup of carrots
- 1 cup of corn kernels
- 4 russet potatoes
- 2 zucchini
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 cups of spinach
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon og thyme
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- 1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon seasoning
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Prep
Wash your chicken , next add it to a pot . I like to use my dutch oven when I cook stews . Add in the seasonings bay leaf , salt , pepper , turmeric powder , garlic powder , chicken bouillon , and add in the tomatoes , onion and garlic clove. Lastly, fill your pot with water and set it on your stove to boil . Cook for about a hour . Once the hour hit add in the zucchini , spinach , and heavy cream . Cook for about 15 minutes more and turn off the heat . Serve with a side or bread or cracker and enjoy . I like to add a couple of splashes or tapatio to my bowl ! I hope you love it
