It’s a tradition in my Blissfulhome every year on Thanksgiving morning to serve up this quick , and easy delicious meal . This year with the circumstances we are in I am focusing on all things cozy , and simple . I chose to shop for my thanksgiving day breakfast at Walmart with its everyday low prices , and all in one place for my shopping needs .I found a functional oven to table serving dish by , better homes and gardens . What I love most about this server dish is it’s functionality .The perfect dish to serve my all in one oven to table breakfast .
I also found these amazing wine glasses that I will be omitting the wine purpose for the perfect family drink to wash down our hearty breakfast. A delicious cranberry ,and pomegranate spice drink .

I love my family’s breakfast tradition , and I am so happy I can share it with you. With all the prepping that goes down for thanksgiving dinner this meal is sure a family favorite . I prepare everything the night before , and pop it in the oven the next morning for a simple , hearty no fuss breakfast .

Stephanie’s breakfast casserole
Let’s cook
- 3 russet potatoes diced up in small bite size squares (pre cooked till soft)
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 1 package of bacon
- 1 granny smith apple peeled and diced
- 10 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of half & half
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 /4 cup of brown sugar
- splash of vanilla
- 5-8 slices of white sandwhich bread
- salt and black pepper to your liking
- 2-3 cups of sharp cheddar cheese
- scallions & parsley for garnish
instructions
Cook your sausage till it browns . Next , cook the bacon . Now once that is cooked place to the side on a towel , and let the grease extract . Grab your washed potatoes and dice them boil them in water untill soft . Next pour your milks to a bowl and whisk in the eggs , salt , black pepper, brown sugar , splash of vanilla together . Cut your bread to your liking . I cut my bread like a cross , and I get 4 pieces from each slice .Grab your dish , and assemble a few pieces of bread on the bottom , and layer on top with uncooked diced potatoes , sausage , diced apples , and repeat .Now once that is assembled pour in your yummy egg mixture .layer the top of that with yummy cheese , and top that with bacon. Add plastic wrap to seal it and place it in the fridge over night . The next morning add it to your oven at 350 for 45-60 . Enjoy
